Donna – Hairstylist

Donna’s experiences include a long history of Hairdressing, managing Family Farms, working in Realestate for 9 years both Rural and Suburban sales and three years working in the wine industry in Tasmania in cellar door sales.

Donna played bass Guitar in a band for a few years and sang BC (before children) and owned salons and trained staff for a very long time (51 years on and off) in North Queensland, working for Goldwell as a Technician when they first came to Australia.

Donna realised the effects of chemicals were not conducive to good health for me so began a Chemical free Salon in Yungaburra ( North west of Cairns)where she made Shampoo bars , styling products and skin care products.

She had also been very involved in cutting and styling wigs for clients who were immunocompromised and had Chemotherapy resulting in hair loss.

Donna has been married for 47 years to Peter with three children and six grandchildren, "my love of family life is at the top of my heart felt list of gratitude and appreciation in my life."
